help: i h8 finding old pages!

i'm learning some 'loverly' google-hacks of l8, is there one/ or a trick of some sort, that would enable me to to search only [last week/month/years] pages?

i'd do a jig -4real

and "hi!" this place is v,nice, people are friendly, have nice links/sigs, and I 'love' G

Google would run into trouble from webmasters who are embarassed by old content. Forgive and move on is better.
