that makes alot of sense and thanx for the news
it's funny when my friend who can't afford a .com and publishes a site tells me his url like, "google the words [hot, wheels and things] and it should have [blah] early in the url" -makes me think of google as the backbone really and i'm lazy so i google sites (thru my address-bar) instead of remembering the url's, usually remembering the optimal searchwords is so much easier! |

Yes, my Googlebar has become such an all-purpose crutch, I can't imagine life without it now.
At least a couple of times a day, I'll copy and past something into it; for some quick background on a topic, or a definition, or to search for a specific answer to a question. Sometimes, just as a lazy spell-check for a proper name, or something that won't commonly be in the dictionary. I guess that's why, like a lot of people now, I just kind of boggle when someone that's sitting at an online computer asks a very simple question, to which they could have the answer in seconds. |
