Registration to Google- how to do so successfully?

Hello,
I wanted to ask about: how to successfully registrate to google?
I've already added my URL to the search engine, but I still can't find the myself.
If you have any suggestions or tips I'll very appreciate it.

To get in google, you must have links pointing to your site! I think that is about the only way to get in...i know they have a URL Submission, but I tried that and it didn't work. Links are best!

Just because you added your site using the Add Url Page doesn't mean it'll popup in a second (be nice if it did, but no search engine provides such speed). Give it time.
