My site is in google, but there is no GoogleBot in the traffic log...why not?

Are your stats created fropm Apache or some other web server or by placing javascript code in your page?

Google doesn't proccess Javascript code so it won't show up in your stats.

Is that a disadvantage for my site...ie will google bot stop crawling it?

No, just that Googlebot won't show up in your logs because your stats tracker is javascript. Gogolebot doesn't need your logs.

Orite kool...its just that my site disappeared from google before, although now it is back!

u shouldnt have a problem with that aslong as ur listed on google the google bot will have been on your site if u want to rank well on google then you will need to optimize your code so its easy for it to read.
