index page doesnt rank ??? other pages do

Hello all, my site at www.sea-fishing.org used to have a index page rank of 5 for years but for some strange reason just the index page lost its rank?

all other pages if you look still have a rank? I am totally at a loss to find out what the problem is? its been like it now for about 6 months.
Any idea`s very much appriciated

I personally think its something to do with google sitemap as my problems seem to of started around the time I submited them.
Today for the first time in months my site got his rank back but at the same time I found that my other sub domain site lost its rank 4 ??? this has happened about 3 times now when my 4 rank sites shows a rank the other 5 ranks loses its rank and vise verser. Google sitemap must be messaed up? has nayone else noticed there main or sub domain doing this weard thing?
