An old page still showing on Google

Hi

I'm new to the forum - so hello to all

I hope you can help me. My pages have been suffering ranking wise on Google for some time (over a year). Prior to that every one of my pages I was in the top 10 for all of my targetted keywords.

I removed a page from my site around a year ago http://www.spartium.com/privacypolicy.htm - but I can still see it on Google - what is the reason for this? How can I get rid of it from Google?

I have got some pages on my site that aren't even showing on Google, for example http://www.spartium.com/fruit-gift-baskets.htm even though I have had this page for ages

Any help would be appreciated.

I have the same problema, if i try a site:www.jtronics.com.ar command in google search i get listed with apges that don't exist anymore. wtf?

How can I remove content from Google's index?

No, You can't do anything in this case. You cannot ask google to remove those pages. Those are the cached pages of Google. After a period of time Google will automatically deleted those pages from its cache and come up with new pages of your site. You keep in updating your site with contents so that the Google spiders will increase their visits to your site and your new pages will get indexed. It is just matter of time and Good Optimization
