google Blogsearch thinks I haven't updated my blog since Jan 8, 2006

But I've been blogging almost daily since jan 8, 2006. (i wrote my last yesterday).

Here's the google blogsearch result on my blog:

how do i fix the problem so that blogsearch would check for updates on my blog again?

Does blogsopt ping a service of a sort to tell the ping service there is an update?

yes, in the blogger settings, there's an option to automatically ping weblogs once my blog is updated.

the setting is enabled in my blog, but still it is not telling blogsearch that my blog is updated.

I also use pingoat after i post.

I think that the Google search link you provided can only give you the most current update that coincides with the latest crawl of your site. Maybe you haven't been crawled since the 8th. It would be odd, but it is possible.

it's interesting because the regular google search engine is more current in it's updates than blogsearch, which is stuck in jan 8, 2006.

It is very weird. I checked my blog on blogsearch and it was all up to date. Have you checked all you settings and code to make sure it can be found properly?

all is okay i think, since i never manipulated my blog's template code other than to add links and blogroll in the sidebar.

technorati picks up my updates too.

i tried to change my blog's template code to another style, but it doesn't seem to work either.

If it was then there wouldn't be any mention of the blog in blog search.
