With regards to DMOZ submission listing, yes I must agree its hard to get in and DMOZ has not been particularly informative on their reasons for rejection, acceptance or even NO REPLY at all.

Just wanna drop a best news of the day.. there is this company I got to know that is offering guaranteed DMOZ listing within 21 days. Ya, I know its too good to be true... but 3 of my friends that registered in their program are now listed in DMOZ.

I suspect they might have ties with DMOZ itself... perhaps... ???

Anyway, if you are interested to try.. this is the link:

searchmarketingsales.com

Enjoy and good luck!

Yeah, sure, mdzool, "a company you got to know," all right. Its your website. So why don't you tell us how you guarantee a Dmoz listing within 21 days, even though, as you've said, its "too good to be true." Are you scamming people or are you paying a Dmoz editor? Why don't you tell instead of acting like it's a link you randomly found over the Internet.

Yes they have blog but when it comes to issue of approving submitted site, they have still problem on this. I think they prioritize the paid inclusion than the free one.

What paid ones? What are the details of what you're talking about? What categories and/or editors offer paid inclusion? Please provide details, because as far as I know dmoz is 100% free and doesn't not offer a paid inclusion, and there is no paid inclusion to prioritize.

It's so funny when people come up with these things of "I've seen this" or "I've seen that" especially when they're either not willing to provide any evidence or, more importantly, *can't* provide any evidence. Seeing people post on external forums or hearsay isn't evidence ladies and gentlemen. Where do you have any evidence with the name of an editor/category, site, e-mail, or something where someone has obviously paid for a listing? Bringing up these allegations without any real proof is meaningless and very easy to do, so put the proof where your mouth is.

Here is an example of what I'm talking about where someone actually provided PROOF and the editor was taken care of and his sites were removed from the directory.
DMOZ editor wants $300 to list my site - WebProWorld
You can go to Editorship revokation ?? - Resource-Zone and follow-up where the editor is asking about being locked out of his editor account and then being pointed to the link above.

So, where is YOUR proof?

FYI: Daniel Kotarski was 100% wrong in everything he said in his e-mail and was removed as an editor as well as his site delisted.
