How google search page that is in database?
I recently I am thinking of re-designing my whole site base on MySQL
database. All the contents will come from the database. Now, my question is. If all my pages or contents are inside a database, how is google going to search my website since there is not static pages anymore? Will google be able to find my pages or contents eventhough it is inside a database? |

I think Google would see the site just as a user would. A typical example would be a forum...if you hit source then you get HTML code, not the database reference stuff

Thank you for the response. I see your point. However, let's say that I
type in scholarship in google search engine, how would google know that my site also have scholarships available if the word "scholarship" or contents are inside a database and not being displayed or download to the client's desktop yet? The only reason why I would see all the contents on the page when viewing the source code is because my browser already go out and query those contents. But how is google going to know when there is nothing static on my site that reference scholarhsip or jobs etc. |

Like any regular page, Google follows links, so if you don't have the scholarships page linked from any of your other pages or if no one visits that page or if you don't submit that particular page, then Google doesn't know about it. Just like any regular page.
Google doesn't know the backend of your site and doesn't really care. |

Okay, I kinda get the idea. So let's say the whole contents of my site
is store on the database. Google will not know about my site and unable to query my pages if the following are true, correct?br br 1. none of my pages, which is store in the DB, mentioned the word "scholarship" and links to itbr 2. no one access any of my page that contains the link to the scholarship pagebr br br |

Just think of it as a regular HTML page. If there's no link to the page, Google won't crawl to it. If there is, then your page should be indexed the same as normal. However, if you're now changing your pages from .html to .php, Google may still try to crawl the .html page, so make sure you have a custom 404 error page, or have a permanent redirect to the new page. After Google realises the site has changed, you should be fine.
