Have you used Google Answers?

Just curious: The idea, I think, is perfect: If I wanted an answer to a very important question, I'd gladly pay for an accurate answer, instead of getting it fast and for free, from unveryfied sources.

Anyhow: Have anyone here at the Google Community used Google Answers? Do you use it often? What do you ask? How much does your costs search and have you always been pleased with the results?

If you haven't used it: Why not – because it costs money or because you don't trust it? If you would get a question: Which one would you ask?

Will be fun to hear your stories! I want to try it so badly: But I can't find a question suitable to ask (or actually, I can't come up with many questions at all).

Frankly, I don't really like the system they've got. I wouldn't want to pay for an answer when I could get it for free.
Also, I'm thirteen years old, so I don't really have much a budget. And I don't think I fall into Google Answers' targeted audience.
All in all, I would rather like to try and find an answer somewhere else online (for free), rather then go and spend money on an answer.
But if I do have a serious query to which I don't find a proper answer, I'd be willing to try it (only when I'm older and have money, of course).

I've not used it for two reasons.
One, I'm cheap. Two; I think that I could probaby do as thorough a search on a topic, as anyone that might reply.

Yeah, mondine's always been the king of search. I guess he can find almost anything on the Net.
On a different note, where were you all this time, mondine? You haven't been posting for a long time.

A bit off-topic, but I was offline for about five weeks after a house fire (noted here), and the last couple of weeks, I had to go out of town for a job, from which I returned yesterday.

(I was beginning to wonder if anyone noticed. )

Hmm... I was offline for a long time as well, due to my exams and the fact that I was out of town. So I didn't notice your post.
Anyway, I hope your life's come back to normal now. So now let's get back to the topic.

Quite a moot point now that Google Answers is being discontinued!

Aren't they keeping the archives though?
I still find it useful for finding some of the answers already there.
