The Death of Harry Potter

Ay theories as to what will happen in the final Harry Potter book. I'm betting on Harry being killed by voldermort, just as he killes him (they say a spell symiltaniously).

aye aye, I think that's what's gonna happen. I also read somewhere that J.K. Rowling is planning on kiling two charachters in her last book, to prevent others from writing sequels. I that case those two (Harry & Voldemort) seem like the right ones to kill.

I'm hoping the character who "gets a reprieve" according to Rowling is
Harry. If he dies, there will a lot of unhappy readers (of all ages).
Of course, Rowling could sugar-coat his death by reuniting him with his
parents in the afterlife, and Harry would always be waving contentedly
to Ron and Hermoine from one of those magical photos. Besides
Valdemort, there are plenty of bad and maybe not so bad guys who can be
the other major character who bites it -- like the older Malfoy, Snape,
etc.

I think that Harry will kill voldemort on the last page of the book, and he lives himself. I also thought that maybe Harry forgets what he said in the half blood prince and decides to let Hermione and Ron help him to find the horcruxes and kill voldemort. Thats my theory n e wayz.

The final book will be huge though, over 900 pages I would think.

thats ridiculous. i rekon about 700-850 or less. Just cause its gonna be good doesnt mean its gonna be long. lol

Couldn't she just let Ron and/or Hermione go with Harry to help him in the final encounter with Voldemort and then make Voldemort kill one of them, and then Harry taking the great Hollywood-"see you in hell, biatch"-revenge on him?brAlthough your theory about Rowling closing the story makes more sense... Whatev', just a wild guess...brbr - BSOD

I think that one of the two characters that Rowling will probably kill in her last installment of harry potter is Dumbledore. everybody knows that he is the real villain of the story. He and Voldemort are my choices.
