Do you give money to charity?

I dont mean only for org' , even if you just see a homless guy, do you give him something?

ummm... but I'm not giving them money.. sometimes if I have food I'll just give it a kid.. and sometimes i'll buy bread for them..
I'm not used in giving them money 'coz they'll just spend it in gambling.. and I don't like that..

i remember one time when i give bread to a kid.. he said "give me money.. i don't need food"..

No money to Charities per se, but I give freely (and directly) to the Disabled American Veterans and the Paralyzed Veterans. (There are others that do good work and deserve our support, but don't assume.)

Many charities are false collection agencies that KEEP 97% of the money and give a few cents to the cause you thought you were supporting. You really need to check the place out first.

I will feed a hungry man but won't give him money for booze or dope.

I won't give money to the homeless because most of the time they spend it on drugs or beer. I have given them food or coffee. I've had them refuse the food and tell me that they want the money instead. I especially won't give it to them then.

yep, i do give them money... especially to old ladies and childrens... i hate to see them suffering and not eating the right food while us in this forum are blessed.
