Learn about Contracts for Difference

Hi CFD trader,

I am also a beginner in CFD trading, i found this website really useful, it helped me to find a good broker and software provider. it is also a good place to look for up-to-date analysis! check it out: CFD | CFDs | CFD Trading | CFD Brokers | Contracts For Difference

I am still learning a lot, but if you ever need any advice give me a shout. Also if anyone else has advice about this topic, please join in!

Trading the FTSE?

Hey - I trade the FTSE. You can open a Paddy Power trader account (think its paddypowertrader.com) for £30. £30 is what you need to trade the FTSE (margin). It's pretty good. What i would advise tho and this is purely on experience... Deposit £30 when you fancy an opportunity. if you win, withdraw the lot. Leave nothing in the account.
When you see another opportunity, deposit another £30. If you lose then it's all you lose. There has never been a truer saying in trading any market than "this is surely the bottom, it can't go any lower" yes it can and it will take all your winnings that you have built up over a far longer period of time.
That's the way i've proved it more successful having built £200 to £15,800 in two years then lost the lot! Oh, never get greedy... Just have fun with it. n You'll do good.

Hope this helps.

Very best,

Michael
