Oh i thought about it. I wanted to. But i wised up and i think i will wait. I just dont feel its worth it right now. But thats just me.

So "no" i wont be getting any in google ipo.

Like you said it would be cool find someone who will.

I always thought those IPO's were just about impossible to get in on. Gotta have the right broker I guess. Oh, and money!

I got in on on the IPO just because my dad is a broker, and he has some sweet connections with Wall Street. The price was just outrageously exorbitant, in fact I'm embarrassed to mention it to the community, but in the long run the investment will be worth the risk. I mean, Google is such a dominant and well-run company, what more could you ask for? And even though they're competing against M$, Google has such a big lead in the e-information and searching industry that there is little to no chance them catching up.

Just curious, when did you get in on the IPO? In the beginning or just lately? Probably lately, since you mentioned that the prices were outrageously (hard to spell!) high.

I originally bought stock in Google only four days after they went public. I have added to my positions lately by purchasing some more stock about every two months or so depending on how the company continues to perform.
