^ my stance on the issue. I'm not vegitarian. I'll eat meat or anything. I don't think it's mean to catch a rabbit in the forest and rip off its head while it's still alive. Human's are supposed to eat meat, just like we breathe, drink water, etc. to survive. Oh and no one who's a vegitarian that's in it 'for the animals' watch this. |

vegetarianism and non vegetarianism are the economic necessities. When your community has sufficient land and water and people, and if there is no ice or snow, you grow vegetables and eat it. ( even there for the same of adventure you kill animals but as a sport.) otherwise you eat whatever you can, to sustain. Hence,
it is more out of economic necessities, these habits have been formed than by any other reason. I am a strict vegetarian, but that does not mean, others if they like it, should not take non-vegetrian food. It is all a matter of taste and culture!! |

Currently going vegetarian for the Nine Emperor Gods festival (Google for it if ya don't know... =)), currently on day three out of 10 days without eating any meat, onions or garlics... The people cooking these vegetarian dishes are getting better year by year I'd say! It's definately a refreshing change from eating meat from day to day...
Normally I completely don't eat beef (I'm Bhuddist) and I rarely eat pork and seafood... Chicken would be my favourite... =) But then there are times where I'd feel some sympathy for the creatures that have to be sacrificed just to fulfil our desire for eating their flesh and meat. Hm... actually humans are omnivores, if humans were to only eat meat only, we'd be nothing different from predators like tigers and sharks, who mercilessly hunt down their prey and rip 'em up in bloody chunks... Since we're omnivores, we can choose to eat only vegetables, just like those who claim to be able to eat only meat... =) You could lead a vegetarian life if you want to, remember, it's all in your head...
