it wasnt. i made it free. anyways i dont even have it installed on my computer anymore since i reformatted. currently im using AIM 5.2 with AIMutation installed. (makes it look so much better)

i use the best im program on earth it is called Trillian is is compatible with AOL,ICQ, msn,IRC,YIM i love it

I just use Messenger... All my friends use it so I don't need anyother...

And I can use my Gmail on it so I like it better...

Have you seen the MSN 7? Is very cool...

Try it if you haven't...

I use MSN mostly. Is the worst and ugliest IM program around, but most people seem to be using it, so it's the only way to get in touch with friends. I used to use ICQ a lot, before it got 95034049 useless options and 94858 banner ads per second.
I have Y!M installed to talk to a couple of friends that can't get MSN to work (have no idea why). I've tried AIM and i don't even remember how it looks like.

Do any of you use Trillian, Miranda or any of those?

he means you can register your gmail account as your .NET passport and use that to login to MSN Messenger just like any other email address. he cant see his gmail inbox through it i dont believe but it just his choice for login.
