mens hair, gel? wax? putty? clay? WHAT!!

Hi everyone,

this is my first post, but it looks really nice here, I think i'll settle in well

Right, I have medium length hair (about 3 inches?) and i want to style it, but i dont have a clue what to use

My hair is thick and it "knows what it wants to do", its quite stuborn however you spell it.

It tends to curl so I use conditioner and serum, so I've got to be really careful not to get it too greasy. I want to get it as straight as possible.

The style i want is so that you can't really see the "gel" or whatever I use. I want it to be quite messy, not spikey but close to my head, its got too much volume already.

What do I use!!!

I dont have a clue!

Thanks loads!!!!!!!!!!

It depends on the type, but wax is good for a messy look, and it doesn't show too much.

Your hair sounds like my hair, but a tad longer. I use Crew hair cream that I got from my barber. Matte finish, and will do just about whatever you want without flaking like gel.

Why dont you try TRICKS Extreme Gel? It will really hold your hair so firm. I've use it before.
