I'm home...

I am finally at home for some pre-deployment leave. this will be my last time home before Iraq for my 2nd tour. Having a great time leave makes me so happy and so much less stress. I can't wait to get my Iraq tour done and come back again.

Well my leave can be cut short if i answer a phone call saying it has...I won't answer a phone call :P. Anyways I was at the lake Monday and Tuesday on a boat getting sun burned because my irish skin doesn't handle sun very well. I'm going to see some friends here tomorrow...so far everythings working out well.

Erm, what does your place of origin have to do with getting sunburnt.

People from northern climes tend to have less skin pigmentation, and burn more easily.
I imagine you're a rather pasty fellow, yourself.

I haven't been around for a while.....I'm still on leave. Anyways I'm a
mix of Irish, Norweigan, and Swedish more than half of it is Irish
though. Anyways I was on Lake Shasta in Northern California. It's
pretty close to my farm back home so it was a good time. I'm not
horribly white any more Mondine :P. But once I'm in Iraq and wearing
long sleeves and pants + a hat for 7-9 months I'm sure I will.

Yes, I am, but there are equally as many people who don't get affected by sun.
