Longhorn is going to rock. I wish I could get in on the Beta testing of that.

Haven't heard too much about Longhorn in the past few months - or maybe it's just me. I should go check that site out.

Oh yeah, I saw an article on CNN.com yesterday regarding Apple's Mac OS X coming up with a new version named "Tiger". Steve Jobs was pretty confident in saying it was leaps and bounds beyond even Windows' future Longhorn. I think it's coming out 2005. I just have no idea what's so special about it. I'll try looking it up again...

Isn't Longhorn going to come out in like 2006-2007? I Hope my system can handle Windows Longhorn. In other news, I wonder Mac is gonna come out with to compete with Windows Longhorn.

I don't think it works along the same principles of Gmail

I believe the release date is 2006, but don't think that many people will buy it with minimum specifications being 4-6 GHz!

I feel that Macintosh will be able to easily beat Longhorn. IMHO Longhorn doesn't look too promising, and will probably run quite slow and take way too many resources just to RUN.

I would hate using my resources up to run longhorn.

PS. what a shame microsoft does not work with the same principles as Gmail.

I had a go with release 4051, and it was alright and everything. Looked nifty, the little dashboard bit on the right was cool as well, just had a big memory leak so it was all good until you tried to do anything Also all you could really do was sign on to MSN and play a few games because of the lack of drivers. I think it's scheduled 2005 where as Tiger ought to be later on this year.
