Forum regulars, loiterers and lurkers may have noticed my absence for most of the last two weeks.
This has been due to a series of unfortunate computing events
which would come as no surprise to those familiar with my thrifty reluctance to part
with the steaming wreck of my seven-year-old computer.

At any rate, I seem to have coaxed it into another incarnation of reluctant existence.
I just wanted to make this note of explanation for those of you who may have sent me unanswered messages.
For the most part, I've just been hacking through a small thicket of spam that's crept in
here and there like crab-grass in the lawn.
So, if you do see anything askew, awry, or untoward still lurking,
please send me a PM, and we'll get things tidied-up.
