Theres a new Final Fantasy VII game in the works with Vincent Valentine as the main character . Details can be found below:

Square Enix announced a new PS2 RPG called Final Fantasy VII: Dirge of Cerberus, a sequel / spinoff of Final Fantasy VII. The story takes place one year after the events in Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, in which you play as Vincent Valentine from FFVII, to battle against a group of enemies named the "Dirge of Cerberus", who started to attack the city.
This game is a part of the company's Compilation of Final Fantasy VII strategy, which pursues polymorphic vision. Square Enix mentioned that this game will unfold the mysteries around the Final Fantasy VII world.

The main character Vincent Valentine is a powerful gunner who born on October 13, he was put into a long sleep, atoning for past sins; until Cloud woke him up in the Shinra mansion in Nibelheim."

With the recent release of the Final Fantasy VII: Before Crisis game for mobiles in Japan, things are looking good for future sequels and spin-offs of Final Fantasy VII. Dirge of Cerberus looks promising with great graphics. It seems to be an action RPG according to what I saw from a trailer ...At long last... a change in the traditional plain RPG custom of mainstream Final Fantasy games...No wonder Square Enix has been delaying Final Fantasy XII!

Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest: Itakadi Street also looks promising...Its like Kingdom Hearts except its going to be a crossover between Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest characters instead of Final Fantasy and Disney characters.

Speaking of Kingdom Hearts...the preview trailer for Kingdom Hearts 2 can be found on Gamespot(?) I think. Its also looking cool. Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories is not too long away ...

Earlier, Square Enix had talks with Nintendo about porting FFVII:BC to the soon-to-be-released Nintendo DS.

So far, most games are looking good...but trust me...Advent Children will be a flop! First of all its got a lame name...second, they drastically changed Cloud's appearance from his appearance in the original FFVII game! Its lame in my opinion...its going down the same sewer as Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within....

its a new handheld system like GBA. Except it has better graphic, wireless networking, and 2 screens. i think its going to retail for about $300. the GBA is fine for me. i got a GBA SP.
