Sweet games in the line-up: GTA: SA, KOF:MI, KOF '94 Re-Bout

These are some impressive games in the line-up to review(all are PS2 games), first I'll start with King Of Fighters: Maximum Impact.
The game is just AMAZING I tell you!

Graphics: The graphics are so much better enough to make any CAPCOMmunist(hey hey, I'm communist/socialist too but not a CAPCOMmunist, no offense meant to communism) love the series just for the sheer fact that it looks like it wasent done with super nintendo graphics. the old characters and the new characters look awesome and I mean breathtakingly awesome. But it's without a doubt that now when people think KOF they're gonna say Maximum Impact. (8/10)

Music: The music is ****in' awesome I love every track with 'Want to beat me?' being my favorite because it brought new light to a somewhat dull theme to begin with the music matches the mood although if your not into high speed themes you might hate it but if you wanna see KOF in 3D This is the way to go.(10/10)

New Characters: The Meira Brothers rock. Never before have I see any KOF heroes rock as much as they do Kyo, K', Terry, you name it never held two bits of a candle compared to them especially Alba who is serious yet hardcore in contrast to Soiree who is a bit of a Rambler. Mignon is a great character but she looks like the next great Doujin girl and Lien is spectacular but once again only the uhh...lets say 'sick' gamers who have nothing better to do than drool at half-naked japanese video game girls really pick her unless they're experts. Basically the Meira Brothers is where it's at SNK you found your new Heroes keep it this way and make them the heroes of the 2D Games as well. (8.5/10)

The Story: No more NESTS, no more clones, no more Rugal(YAY!!!) and no more Orochi(w00t!). The story is straight hardcore and thats where it's at. Honestly the story revolves around rival gangs and Alba and Soiree who are destined to become the next underworld kingpins so to speak so if you're looking for Mukai and Orochi your in the wrong place. I can say this is the type of change that KOF needs and this should take over the main series seriously. (9/10)

The Gameplay and fun factor: This isnt Tournament worthy but it is high-paced fun, keep that in mind...the game is more about combo's and speed and trust me it's NOTHING like project justice and SF:EX(1-3) it is it's own game in it's own right and it would blow any 3D Fighter out of the water except Tekken and maybe the original Soul Calibur...I mean Soul Blade(hehe), but it matches both evenly... Trust me Dead or Alive couldn't even hold a candle to it. (10/10)

The Overall: I'd reccomend this game to anyone and everyone who loves KOF and heard of King Of Fighters, Art Of Fighting or Fatal Fury. Being a hardcore KOF gamer I have to say this is the best KOFs ever and I mean nothing before can even come close and I doubt people will play the 2D series after they play KOF:MI because KOF MI I can seriously see will become the most popular KOF Game ever so much that it will be intergrated with the yearly series. So run out and buy this game today and show your support SNK as the future is now!

Final overall score : 9.5/10 [Excellent]

Next, we've got King of Fighters '94: Re-Bout, a remake of the original King of Fighters '94 for the NeoGeo.
It's not out yet, but still looking impressive. It's being made to mark the 10th anniversary of the KOF series. It's probably got the best 2D graphics for a PS2 game. Its like '04 meets '94 and vice versa. Look out Street Fighter, King of Fighters is gonna blow ya' outta the water! One MAJOR flaw is that it's sorta mixed up like: WTF!? An American 'tomboy' chick trained in Muay Thai kick-boxing paired up with two Japanese chicks(one who is half-naked ) to form "England" team...how wierd is that!?
You can check some stuff out yourself at this URL(most of it is in Japanese, but you can still have a look at the screenshots):

Now, onto San Andreas(Yep, its out, go get it noobert as well as Half Life 2). Before saying anything else, I just wanna tell you guys, I just hate Halo, in my opinion it sucks. Yet, I do believe Bungie > id, and I also believe Halo 2 will kick Doom 3's rear.
I think I wasted enough time, onwards to the review!

I'm not going to beat around the bush. Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is the single best PlayStation 2 title I have ever played. It's larger than the biggest RPG, has more story than the heftiest adventure game, and has almost as many mini-games as Nintendo's Mario Party. Additionally, it has a production value that's second to none, boasts a faithfulness to '90s source material with an eerie accuracy, and provides more hours of entertainment than all the previous Grand Theft Autos combined. In short, it's a terrific unending masterpiece of a game -- and one that will never fall victim to an over-exaggeration of its lofty status.

The graphics are amazing and I don't think I have to collaborate on that. The gameplay is awesome just like any other Grand Theft Auto. The sounds, the radio music, its all very well mixed. The 'pedestrians' now have more variety. Hell you can even encounter homo-sexual men and they have some very interesting things to say(not anything bad though)...I'm not that far in the game to know about dual guns nor do I know if they are in the game...I don't know any cheats sadly...But the addition of bicycles was a good choice, I mean everyone was wanting 'em...but I just HATE that bicycle in the intro, I mean WTF!? what kind of pansy would ride that grr...
Can't wait for the PC release of this game ...One of the best games of the GTA series and definately one of the best ps2 games and one of the top ten best games ever.

I hope GTA:III for GBA is equally as good. It better be, as GTA:III is my second most favourite game and Rockstar better not mess up a revolutionary classic :P...

NeoGeo Battle Colliseum is also looking terrific ...Check out http://www.neo-geo.com/forums if you're interested in knowing more about it and to keep yourself up-to-date with news on the game ...

I don't know about fighter jets, it might be true. But you can fly Learjets and stuff like that. I have hardly done anything in San Andreas, just exploring the first city, so I don't know much yet!

Nice! I'm going to play non-stop on SA today, so I'll probably find some cool stuff like that.

Err...if you got a DVD-writer, then write the .iso file to the disc and use an emulator like Bleem to run directly from the disc...I hate PS2 emulation...if things like this become more widespread, Rockstar might go out of business :/...

Bleem? A emulator? Does it work with PS2? You have a link to the soft or something?
