WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Vice President Dick Cheney, who has a history of heart attacks, was undergoing tests at a hospital on Saturday after experiencing shortness of breath, but initial results were encouraging, an aide said.

The 63-year-old vice president has had a cold and went to George Washington University Hospital in Washington. Two initial tests on his heart, including an electrocardiogram, had shown nothing abnormal, said Cheney spokeswoman Mary Matalin.
