Sleep and insomnia

Up until the last few nights I thought I had finally cracked the insomnia and early morning waking, but now I fear they are back to haunt me after a brief holiday harassing someone else.

Any tips on gaining a full nights sleep?

Thanks

Have a regular schedule; go to sleep and wake up at the same time each day.

Also, use your bed for nothing but sleeping. Don't watch tv from your bed etc. Then when you get in your bed your body should automatically switch into sleep mode.

Drink something warm before going to bed, it raises your body temp causing it to pike and cool which also triggers sleep. warm milk and chamomile tea are the best because they contain chemicals which can slightly relax you.

Hope you can sleep better

Yoga is the sure-shot solution for this. Try to learn Yoga under the guidance of a good instructor and do Yoga regularly and with 100% devotion.

You will find great results soon.

A couple of glasses of some red wine and a melatonin tablet. Try a 3 mg first and if that doesn't work then try a 5 mg. Melatonin is naturally produced by our bodies and can be found in most health sections at stores. It's totally safe and non-addictive. It's actually good for you. Red wine is good for you and also contains some melatonin and the small amount of alchohol with the melatonin tablet should do the trick.

ok.

Here's another issue...it's true that some wake up after times of deep sleep - which could be a few times. That's after REM sleep. Also, it might help to not worry so much about it- it can make it worse. Doing things like checking the clock and all will only help keep you awake.
