Browser

Okay just recently, I have started thinking of using Firefox, Opera, Mozilla, or some sort of browser besides I.E. However, I have never done it before and never even thought about it.

Which is the best ones? What's some of your opinions and do you use any of them? Is anybody willing to walk me through the process if I have questions considering some of them you have to install extensions and stuff and firefox had like 50 billion extensions.

Also will my Google toolbar still work in one of the programs?

Any help would be appreciated.

firefox is by far the best... easy to install, few extentions. those you need are installed with about a single click.

Firefox's extensions are easy to install. Just pick the ones you need. I use Firefox as my default browser, Internet Explorer to test sites out and when sites don't work in Firefox.

I am using FireFox now. They have some fantastic features. However, I really wish they had the Blogger Toolbar like the Google Toolbar does.

Hmm strange... did it work for you? Try downloading an older version of it.

No actually I had to uninstall and reinstall the whole browser and now my Status bar is like 1 inch thich and I can't get it to go back to normal. On the Mozilla Web Board, they talk about this; but they do not offer a remedy. If you know of one, or a good Firefox Group, please let me know.

Hmm, what always works for me is the System Restore. Sure you'll lose some system settings, but it usually helps.

Just go to Start Menu > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore

Then you just go back a month or two.

I say that most internet users should restore their system every so often in case any spyware that doesn't want to go away that needs to be removed can be removed.
