Well, seeing as how my boyfriend lives in Mississippi, and I live in Florida, there will not be a big Valentine's celebration AGAIN this year. However, some friends of mine and I are actually going to carry on a tradition we had when we were single and have an ANTI-Valentine's day night out! Its fun, just go out as a group, have some drinks, and laugh at all the people who just hooked up because of the stupid commercial holiday. Yet another holiday pushed by Hallmark!

See if I had a girlfriend, I'd most likely go to the movies, and at the end of the night go out to dinner. But of course, I'll be sitting at home, probably surfing GC.

Well I'm not a guy, but can I still answer? I'll just asume you won't mind (love being a girl, girlpower grrr)

Anyway, I won't be doing anything interesting for valentines day. It doesn't mean anything to me, just another plain old day. I find all these holidays to commercial, I don't need a special day for that, I can do special things on every day of the year if I want to.

Do you still need a gift idea for your sweetheart?

Nothing bad for sale on Ebay

Pandora's Box

By INQUIRER staff: Friday 04 February 2005, 19:23

Quote:
A MAN IS SELLING nothing bad on Ebay but so far the auction has only attracted one bid.

The vendor claims that the winner of the auction will get nothing bad - no measles, no spam, and no bad news from the doctor. And all else that flew out of Pandora's Box when it was opened.

He uses his imagination when contrasting "nothing bad" with everything else that might happen that is bad. But, as the old Arlow Guthrie song went, somewhere on this planet is the "last guy" to whom everything bad that's happening is happening simultaneously.
Have a look for yourself

Edited: I'm hung over today and food does not look appealing yet. I'm not much of a drinker and I shall never, ever drink again...yea right! I had fun and I hope you all did as well with your special someone.
