Harry Potter is genious. About the movie, I still haven't seen it but it looks great; Cuaron definitely took it in the right direction by giving it a more adult/dark style.

About the new book, I have no idea who the Half Blood prince could be. That's exactly why I love the story, clever turns and always perfectly written.

As in Escapist? For people who want to avoid the boriinngg things in life? I kind of agree with that! I mean i have the whole collection of books and i never really thought of them as time wasters! I just kept on reading, and i never got bored of them! And for the title, i think it could be Colin, why else would he play such big rolls? And for Hermione, i doubt she'd be a "Prince"

Interesting topic. The thing about the Harry Potter books though, is that if you started right when the first book came out, then it's very easy to forget many details between the release of each book. Unless of course you're truly obsessed and you reread the books over and over or you study weird Harry Potter facts... But I've never been one to reread books, even twice.

Lol, when the first couple books were already out, I got kind of sick of rereading the very beginning of the book, when she goes over what happened previously. I guess it does serve a good purpose though.

BTW, didn't J.K. Rowling say that she was thinking of using this title for the SECOND book? Interesting...

Also, has anyone seen any of the movies? I JUST saw the first one and the third (skipped the second, lol) and the kids are MUCH more grown up... This got me thinking, by the time the last book comes out, and a movie is made, won't the kids be like...... 20? LOL... That wouldn't really work well with the story... I wonder what they would do? New cast? That wouldn't really be right either...

I guess J.K. Rowling will have to speed it up a bit...

Is there any news on when the next book is coming out? I remember the Order of the Phoenix came out last summer... Almost exactly a year ago... Any news on this one?

I don't know when Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince is due to be released, but the 4th movie is be released in November 2005.

Yeah, it will be funny to see Dan [20yo] play a 15 or so kid Harry...

I've seen the three movies, and that's right: the kids are growing... But, as you can see in the third one, some things are seen from the point of view of adolescence.
But if they don't hurry up, I'm afraid they'll have to look for new kids.

Harry Potter rocks. But who could the Half Blood Prince be? Hadn't heard of that title before this (must not be a very good fan, huh?). Now I'll be thinking about that for the next year. Nooooo!

i like Harry Potter, but im not obsessed with it, I love the movies, and will watch them all, and have them all on dvd, but its not like a rant and rave over them, but it is pretty cool stuff.
