Catching a Ball
A relationship is like a game of catch.
Let's say the ball is the relationship itself and a man and women are playing the game. If both players actually receive and return the ball, then the game could last a very long time, or even become a life time routine. Both players would be satisfied, occupied, and have a sense of enjoyment with each other. If one person does not even try to play the game and let's the ball drop, then the other player will most likely quit, thus the game will end. If one tries to teach the other player how to catch a ball, then there is a possibility that the game MAY last. However, if it takes too long for the other person to learn the game... then the game could end out of impatience. I made this up because I was bored... + I could use this for my creative thought assignment due next week. |

Very nice metaphor...
Often times, people are better equipped to grasp the underlying message when it is explained to them in this fashion. High marks for creative thought! Keep up the good work and best of luck with your assignment. |
