Advice & Opinions Please.

I'm driving to Taco Bell for food. I'm jumped at the red lights by a bunch of Minority church members (Not my Religion) to put money in their buckets for 'the children'

I get to the Bell and they want me to buy a piece of paper and tape it on the wall, to feed the children.

None of these Children are in this country. I have been giving for more than 57 years, they are still hungry, we have never received a thank you, and the need is greater now than ever with more hungry people now than ever, we never see any adult males that are obviously Fathering these kids they can't afford, and I'm told all the other countries hate us Americans more than ever.

We (I) have been feeding the children, we fed their parents and their grandparents, when will any of these ingrates speak well of us? Should I just tell them that I would be happy to teach them to fish?

Sorry for the question, but who are "Minority church members" ? What religion are they in? It's kinda hard to imagine if you haven't lived in US.

As to feeding children, I think this is parents resposibility to find food for them, not speaking of making children in extreme conditions and hope God will feed them. Let's look in Afrika for example, I saw a starving family on TV and a mother carrying just born child on her amrs, so I'm asking myself - what the hell were they thinking, crazy animals. That may sound very rude, but I had an idea to send them condoms instead of food. No really, that TV commercial made me almost hate myself for helping any charities. I have never refused to help someone if I can, I even support a kid in Malasia, but I can't watch too many TV anymore.

Well I feel the same way and money isn't very important in my life. I have some, I'm not greedy or selfish but I really want to know what is the answer to hungry children around thew world? Obviously giving money to organizations that feed other countries children isn't working.

I feel that hungry children is a crime and would like to stop it, I just know giving more money won't do it.

I think also its about the government, they must not taken this for granted. Children's are their futures. I, myself won't hesitate to help them, but I sometimes agree or do help people who help themselves.
