Asking the link to download Google Search Desktop

Hi there,

I am Hai, coming from Vietnam. I have a quick look at this forum but a lot of topic titles made me confused. So I want to create a new topic to ask for help from you guys.

My question is that I want to download Google Search Desktop that helps me to search all file and folder in my computer.

Next problem is coming. So I ask for further help.

In fact, once I installed this software to my computer. However, when I changd my acount ( I mean I created the name and its password on the desktop screen not to allow stranger to access my computer), that symbol of the software disappeared on the task bar.
When I downloaded the software followed the link you posted to this forum, I saved it successfully to my hard disk but failed to install. The systems showed that I have to remove the old google desktop search to be able to install the new one

My QUESTION is:
What I should to with the old (remove or not or still use the old)?
What I should to with the new (romove or not, or remove the old to install the new)?

In short, what is the BEST choice for me now.

Hai, I think what you need to do is right-click on the taskbar, go to Toolbars, and then select Google from the drop-down list. That should do it.

I followed your instruction (just right click on taskbar and then toolbar...)and the symbol of Google desktop Searching appeared on the taskbar that time.

But one more trouble thing is : when I type something to find in my computer, i.e hai, but it could not connect to the site to find out the results. In other words, I can work well with Google Destop Search.
