Beginners of Yoga

I've started to do YOGA on my own, with the help of book from a reputed author. Is this OK ? DO I really need an instructor ? Any way it is impossible for me to go out.

Would like to know the Do's and Dont's of Yoga Practicing.

yes, it's owkei to do yoga on your own with the help of a book. and i think that's one of the purpose of the author.
