What has happened to Britain?

I have noticed changes in the way the country works, I feel its true to say that chavs are nothing new to our society. What is new however is the way they behave. Once upon a time it was all in house, chavs fought chavs for whatever reason. Bystanders were left alone and only the ones that wanted to fight fought, these days anyones fair game, why? what happend?

Why is it that in this day and age its not safe to walk the streets at night, in some areas never at all. Stabbings are common place (shootings in some areas), muggings are a common occurance.

Was there a single event that triggered it all, is there a single event that could help it all get back to the way it was. The good old days where the old felt it safe to walk the streets and the british tourist was one that was well respected as being a fine upstanding person?

It is the loss of family atmosphere that has created this syndrome, not only in London but in all countries!!
