AIM Email

Just wondering if anyone else has got the new AIM email.

They sent me an email over to my yahoo account and asked if i wanted AIM email. If you have AIM id and want 2 GB more of free email space.

So far, it's not too bad.. i'll be exploring more.

I signed up and honestly can say that I see no reason why I would want to use this over Gmail. It is slower than Gmail, has less storage space, and has ugly ads that get in the way. I also find Gmail's interface much easier to use. In addition, a signature touting the service is automatically added to outgoing messages. The only reason I would find AIM Mail useful is if I was an avid AIM user, which I am not. So, I think I will continue using my Gmail for mail and MSN messenger for instant messaging.
