i signed up for a gawab.com account and dont really like it that much even though there are multiple looks for the site. the thing about gmail is that you get 1 gig of storage and no stupid ads for themselves at the bottom of your email. i love that. on a side note, aventuremail.com offers 2 gigs but they put like a 4 or 5 line tag at the bottom of every email. very annoying to say the least.

These sites need to learn that the user wants services not just a very large storage space. For example if google went public and another email service with better services but only had 250-500mb I would switch to the other one in no time.

I still like gmail, it is just the best out of them all, im changedin all my hotmail and yahoo accounts to go to my gmail, its so much better.

That is so true. All these other companies need to learn that it's not just the space that the users are after, but the services that come with it such as Gmail's strong spam filter and no junky ads all over the place (take a hint from that Hotmail!).
