GoogleCommunity Podcast?

Anyone here familiar with podcasts? Intelliot?
How about starting a GoogleCommunity Podcast? I've been playing around with Garage Band (OSX) and it can create stunning audio.

Post here if you have experience with audio, interested in it, opinions?

Yeah I remember a while back a member from GC asked if we would ever consider podcasting, I believe it was julien who mentioned this.

Ahh yes it was Julien, look here:
http://www.googlecommunity.com/about4947.html

What I said in my post there still stands and would be willing to give it a go one day!

Dont forget to check Julien's May 2005 Podcast:

PS. when Julien mentions Darren, it's not me.

Randy
A Google Community podcast or just a Google-related podcast might be a good idea. I am not sure if such a podcast exists yet. I'd be interested in working on a GC/Google Podcast.

still interested?

I'd love to start and sponsor a Google Podcast! I'd consider my self a Google enthusiast and I'm sure that we could get quite a 'listenership' anyone interested please contact me. I will provide the hosting space and coordination if anyone wants to jump on board.

Ok so here's what I am thinking for now...I didn't sleep well cause this idea kept bouncing around in my head

1. I'd like to have 2-3 people on the show max, any more than that would be confusing. So anyone interested should let me know pretty quick.

2. Skypecasting will be the preferred method of creating the shows. I've got all the software and equipment I need to record and mix the shows.

3. Bittorrent & mp3 hosting. I'll post the show to my server but we'll want to encourage bittorrent as much as we can until we get a sponsor because my server can only take so much (10Mbps/sec)

4. Ideas for topics to be covered. Anyone can submit questions or ideas. One of my thoughts is to try and get an interview with Matt Cutts or someone else from Google and air it on the show.

I know this is a little disjointed but I think we've got a pretty cool idea here. BTW I found this thread via a Google search because I was looking to see if there was a Google podcast. Still haven't found one yet
