Innerracial me

am half black, and half white. When i talk about being two different races people just go " Oh well that's cool" but i wish there was more that i could tell them, more that i could explain. I am 21 years old and for years i have been happy with the fact that i can say that i am of mixed ethnicity. I am currently writing a paper [COLOR=#739912 ! important][COLOR=#739912 ! important][/COLOR][/COLOR]

which i feel like i have the chance to explain but i also have to answer the question " To what extent, if at all, are negative stereotypes the result of ideas from the media" Which is throwing me off. Can anyone help?
