Well, it's free, fully featured as much as the other 'big' players, without that unfortunate tendency to want to 'phone home' and chat about my listening preferences.

Anyway...

foobar2000, Winamp, Muine, Rhytmbox, Last.fm player

In each Audioscrobbler/Last.fm plugin is a must.

I used to use Winamp, but now I use WMP (Windows Media Player), just because it's an allaround Media Player (Audio/Video).

And, if you use SIGamp, the SIGamp Plug-in is a must have

(Without it, you couldn't even use SIGamp

)
