Yea, so. My name is Shawn Matthews, Corporal in the US Marine Corps. Been in Diyala province, Iraq for around 2 years, coming up on a year straight. I'm married, have been for the last 5 years and I love every minute of it. BRBeen a marine for almost 6 years now and also loving every ( let me stop, I hate it right now, I'm on hold waiting to go home, and have been the last month!! suckola!) love the Corps though. BRI belong to 3RD marine division recon. ground pounder for life!! oorah! Let's see here...Oh yes, with all this free time i really needed something to fill my days. Of course we play at the range, and video games n such, but outside contact is always good too. I really like this web site. BRAlthough, not as active as I thought it would be. It's also giving my time to write a little more. If you're interested I have posted a couple of my poems in the "creative writing" forum. Other than that, if anyone has any questions about military, married life at a young age, or military married life at a young age...don't hesitate.
