Actually, it was an ammendment to the constitution, not in theorginal constitution. And, even if it said it in the constitution, what does that mean? It was also in the constitution that black people counted as 3/5ths of a person, so the constitution isn't the moral high ground for every argument. The constitution is a living document, capable of being reformed. I don't agree with a ban on guns, but if you are going to defend the right to own a gun, please get your facts straight first.

Black people and guns are totaly different. And the black thing was changed years ago (i hope). Anyway, its there right, an your argument is still the same and pointless.

um...i agreed with you about the right to own a gun. so you just called your own argument pointless. The point I was making is just because it's in the constitution or is added as an ammendment, doesn't make it the moral high ground.

I love the ignorance of people who have never been there. The Iraqi people love us over there and know that we are their for the greater good. Yes buildings get destroyed over there I have pictures from when I was in Fallujah of all the blown up buildings. But as we started admitting people back in they started rebuilding everything along with our help. We don't just leave them to fend for themselves with no help. It wouldn't make sense for that. And when you say he is a murderer your not talking about Bush. Last time I checked Bush hasn't fired a single shot. And I know that when I was over there we don't just kill random civilians. We don't shoot unless they are trying to kill us. I'm not denying the fact that civilians have died too but sometimes there is a sacrifice that has to be made before the greater good can come around.

mondine is an unknown quantity at this point
Threads like this are the things that are pretty useless.brIt starts off on a polarized topic, on which people already have a firm opinion, and are not really interested in listeningbrto the views of anyone else. Then it branches off into the usual half-dozen little arguments going on.brbrFinally, there are the people that have more 'feelings about' than 'knowledge of' a subject, brthat do little more than recite chants and slogans that they've heard.brbrPointless. br

Uh... in case you havent noticed, there where no wmds in iraq! The key
to disarming someone is to make sure that there is actually something
that you are supposed to be taking away from them!!!!! And i agree with
you on the civilian thing, especially since stats show that theyre
worse of now than they where under Sadamm!!!br
