Ok, so this is almost my 6th year in the Marnie corps. I graduated boot as a PFC. Made Lance(e-3) in under a year, and have been a Corporal ever since. Recently(In the past year) I was given a title of CIC(Corporal In Charge) I answer soley to my Staff(e-6) And no one else.(in my platoon anyway)

I just received word today, that first thing monday morning, I am putting on my third chevron. You guessed it... Sargeant baby!!! I think it's a ploy to make me re-enlist. Anywho, i'm happy and wanted to share the good news. Have a great day everyone.

P.S. MONDINE, if it's not to much trouble, kind sir. Would you mind, oh i dunno, maybe changing my sig around a little??? Cuz 2 aint gonna cut it! =)

Congrats on the promotion. I picked up Lance after I had been in for 9 months. (I was still 17) And I would be picking up Cpl on the first of April if I hadn't been a lazy bastard and done my MCI's. I wasn't expecting my cutting score to be so low so I thought I had time to do it. Our score dropped from like a 1620 to a 1550. Oh well next time I guess.

Ouch. You have the experience of what could have been though, you'll do better next time.

Thanks a lot though, my wife just got home a little while ago screaming and yelling. I thought she was on fire or something, she was reading this letter I received stating why. We already new I picked it up, but the reason is why I will most definetly re-enlist.

They want me to instruct on the basics of recon and the advancing approach to stealth ops. I don't even remember doing that lol j/k

I hope i'm the man for the job. If not i'll pull off the biggest hoax ever!

Blah! No! No way am I switching to the darkside! I'd make a poor officer anyway. I couldn't handle being saluted, wearing those god awfully hot as heck blues all the time would tear me apart. And foremost, My father(RIP) would probably disown me from heaven/hell.
