We did... Everything for ourselves and our families. We didn't join for you or fight for freedom, because freedom hasn't been at stake since the American Revolution.

You are all welcome for whatever it is that you are thanking us for, but no thanks required.

It is... your tax dollar that pay us, your money for our equipment, your money for our training, your money for everything we do. So... in essence.... Thank... YOU. The tax paying civillian... The company owners so that we can have jobs if/when we get out of the service. You USO employees, for helping the militants like myself get free pizza on fridays at the USO rec house, and video games(can't forget those) This is for every person who has gone out of their way to open the door for me, who has seen my uniform while i'm driving and always yeild, noticed my I.D. at a bar, and paid for my drink... ETC. Your thanks are very warming, very patriotic, but you'd serve more a purpose buying a cop a beer than myself. Atleast they actually do keep you safe. So... thank you yet again, and no thanks required.
