Ok, just a question here about the free .info thing. Why are they all giving them away for free? There has to be somekind of reason, right? Do you guys know why the give them away for free?

They probably want people to come to their site and think, "I want a .com domain!" Thus it creates good advertising. It sounds good if you recommend a company and you say, "They were giving out free .info domans..."

the .INFO registry, Afilias, is running this promotion. It is only .INFO that is free and it is only for a limited time; thus, we will eventually have to pay for domains again.

I wish I could get a .net or a .com for free. haha never going to happen.

If one day I get a domain regsitration company ill offer for free or for a very low price .com domains
