Google Community Rules: Domain Name Forum [Updated Apr 2]
Before registering and posting to Google Community, you must agree to all of the below rules.
Format your post properly: Every post on the forums are read many times by many people. Be considerate of this by spending the time to use proper punctuation and spelling. Do not type in all caps, especially not in the Subject of your post. Topics whose subjects are written in all caps may be deleted without warning. No spamming for GC$: First of all, please note that GC$ is just a small extra bonus incentive for being active on the forums. If you want to post to get GC$, do not post at all. Do not spam or intentionally reply to yourself (double posting or sockpuppeting) to earn GC$. We reserve the right to remove your ill-earned GC$ for any reason (usually spamming). This has been tried before, and the offenders lost all their GC$. It won't work and you won't get anywhere. Be kind: Harassing other members, web team, moderators, the administration, being rude/patronising, posting multiple messages with nonsense, running promotional ads and/or spamming will just get you warned or banned. No name calling. This forum is not like other forums - we moderate it - if you do not like the rules - please visit another forum, there are many on the net that may satisfy your interest! Before you try changing the rules here, because it does not suit you, simply ask for your account to be deleted or do not join in the first place - nothing personal at all. Think before you post: Unlike other forums we do not entertain random blobs of scribbles and nonsense, be constructive in what you have to say. Could a child read what I am posting? Do not post the same message on multiple threads, this is a form of spamming. Do not hold at ransom other members who do not share the same religious or political views as you by using names, stereotyping or going against the theme of a board or thread to broadcast your view. Please use proper sentence structure, grammar, and spelling. There is a spelling check add-on implemented in the forum, so there shouldn't be any reasons for misspellings. Don't be negative, racist or rude: We believe that everyone is entitled to their own point of view, but this does not mean that you have to become negative, rude or distasteful. We are not saying you have to believe in what anyone says, but you do need to respect their point of view. You shouldn't resort to flaming even if you think one holds a very radical or extremist point of view. It is okay to be disagreeable so long as it is done in a polite way. If you are coming here with a grudge, desire for vengence, or 'chip on your shoulder', please do not join. We do not hesitate to ban or delete members who fail to understand this concept. Don't post inappropriate things: Do not post inappropriate things whether they be in the form of words, pictures, links, or advertisements. We condemn such material and posting such material will result in a warning. Repeated offenses may result in a ban. Thanks, Google Community Staff
