Domain Name Appraisal

I just wanted to know what I could get for this domain name - I don't use it anymore but it was used as Runescape site in the past. It still gets around 200 uniques a day.

With that kind of traffic i would estimate around $xxx upto mid $x,xxx for that domain. A good way of seeing if there is a market for the domain is to list it on ebay with a reserve of what you are wanting to sell it for and see how many people watch or bid on the domain. Make sure you are desciptive and show proof of the uniques. I do this all the time and sell quite a few domains. Ok it costs to do this but it gives important feedback and who knows you might get the figure your after

I think you could earn good amount of recurring money as it has decent traffic.... ok pr & very good no. of back links. If not sold you could make it a runescape forum free by phpbb

I already own www.rsboards.com which is a Runescape forums and its actaully the forum of www.rshaven.com so it wouldn't make sense to make two of them - that's why I'm thinking about selling it cause I just don't have the time for it. I might just have to place it on ebay, though can I ask what would happen if I put it on ebay and put a reserve for like 10,000 so that I could just work out what people would bid for it without actually selling it - is that possible to?

In that case i think you can place the domain on ebay & Sedo.com for sale...... and also u can just forward the domain to your new site so that visitors coming from previous domain are not lost.... I hope you have done that already. The rest is luck.. It may b sold in a day and may take months.

I mean if I could get mid $x,xxx I would be very inclined to sell it but - I mean I don't want to list it on ebay to only get very low $xxx - if you know what I mean. I really just wanted to know what I could reasonable expect for it.

Then set a reserve at the minimum you would sell it in Ebay.

That way you would not get $xxx but what you wanted. IF it went higher than your reserve then great!!
