mondine is an unknown quantity at this point
In response to your poll question; yes, it's a horrible insult.
If you happen to be in junior high school.

In the real world, it's something of a silly anachronism. Sort of like calling someone a "nerd". (Does anyone still do that?)
"Geek"? I wish. I'd have a much better income.
Me, I'm just another Joe with a computer, an Internet connection, and some spare time.
How 'bout you?

I don't find geek offensive... Imean most people end up working for one. It's all about the person. People can call me anything they want and I really wouldn't care.

FONT face="Comic Sans MS" color=#bf00bf size=2[b]I think people tend to use the wordto refer to thosewhose passions are beyond the reach ofa majority of the population-- like rocket science or molecular biology or hard-core computer stuff, etc.-- things thattake a lot of IQ to understand. So if they call you a "geek", go pat yourself on your shoulder. You may have been elevated from the ranks of mere mortals. /[b]/FONT
