That percentage could very well be the way it is. Never assume they will all speak the truth, because most won't.

It depends whether the other person is real or not. If you project your true self on Internet, you are very likely to get the same in return. PPl. who present themselves falsely thinks they are befooling others but they are befooling themselves. Infact you get good partners when you get others involved in real terms like you gradually start meeting them in real life too. So to discover true potential of your cyber romance becoming real you must assess if the other person too is willing to disclose his/ her real self. If not just quit and try another.

I think most of the people lie in cyber/online chats. So i don't believe it.

I would have to say no to online romance due to the fact that online anyone can lie and tell you only what you want to hear.Now friendships on the other hand I can go for that cause hey aren't we all online for chatting.

it depends upon the person you will meet. some people find love thru internet, others failed...
in my experience, i once fall in love to a guy online..we fall inlove, but never got the chance to see each other...but its been 8 years since i met him on the internet, we still email each other and remain friends...we update each other most of the time about life and stuffs.....i think im lucky i've found a real friend though we havent met.

sometimes we have to be careful to those we meet online. all i can say is that, its easy to find true friends online than a lover. Nothing can beat a relationship where you can see and feel each other..
