Aspergers friends

I am wondering if there are any folks out there who have friends with Aspergers.
If yes, how do you stay friends? I would like to make some friends but am at a loss as to how.
I am in process of joining some online communities but eventually I would like to try in person friendships.
I live in New England.

If you mean to ask if any of us have friends with Asperger's syndrome, I'd personally have to say no. It is not that I avoid people, I like to make friends with everybody, but the prevalence is very low in Canada, so I've never encountered anyone with it. Although it is more common in Sweden than many other countries, I wasn't lucky enough to find anyone with the disorder even there. Anyway, I think everyone is equal, nobody is perfect, I don't find anything abnormal with people who have Asperger's syndrome, so I wouldn't mind befriending one.

Yeah I had a friend with Aspergers. She was extremely annoying but I couldnt resist liking her for some reason!
Her voice still rings in my head and I haven't spoken to her for almost a year.

Well, I don't have any friends with Aspergers Syndrome. Why did you ask this question, anyway? I thought it was us who were supposed to ask.
