What does floccinaucinihilipication mean?

Have you ever stopped to ponder that maybe the word dosen't exist? Could it be that a person was just being stupid and invented the word which several people have discovered and wanted to use because they thought it would make them sound intellengent? I mean, has anyone actually SEEN floccinaucinihilipilification in a dictonary? I have searched through about 10 different dictionarys and haven't seen the word.
Oh, and i found this site looking for the pronounciation of the word also.

You can find "Floccinaucinihilipification" in The New Oxford Dictionary, or any other proper dictionary of English.

I couldn't open the link given, so I don't know if it says it there, but as I remember it, the definition is: "The act of classifying somethingas having no value." I don't know this, but I would suspect some linguist thought it up when trying to do some form of word-classing.

The word Floccinauciniihilipilification is made up
frm four Latin words and means 'Estimating as
worthless' The 'fication' is added to convert it
into a noun.. The only word I can remember the
meaning of is nihil wich is the Latin word for nothing. Hence anNiIHILate. It can still be found
in the twenty-volume Oxford English Dictionary.

hehe I knew about that site from before...
In the Oxford dictionary, it says, "The act of classifying something as worthless", but I say it "The act of deeming something as worthless" :P...Also it is not pronounce Flocki-Nowki-nihily-pilly-fication, its pronounced Flossy-Nawsini-nihily-pilly-fication...the flossy can be alternated to Flocksi, but bah...
