Voyage Century Online new server will be started at North America

Voyage Century Online is a MMO game developed by a Chinese gaming company Snail Game. This is the first Chinese developed game successfully operated at North America. The operating company IGG now had opened 3 servers, which includes Columbus, Da Gama and Magellan.

Since Last Nov, when IGG got the copyright of the English version of Voyage Century from Snail Game, the public expectation of this game had been boomed up a lot. Compare to Koei’s Unchartered Water Online, this game does not have a huge historical background or great story line. However, people may find more fun by playing it, by which I mean the actually control part is the most shining spot to me.

Before launch, several interviews had been done by some major North American cyber media, such as Mmorpg, and IGN. The company seems like putting a lot of efforts on marketing. This could be easily told from the daily increase of the total players. However, the only not-so-good part might be the customer support. Staffs seem not properly trained to answer users’ questions. Language could be the barrier for both parties in communication.
