New GC Administrator: mondine

I am pleased to announce our new admin, mondine!

I will continue to admin the forums along with my new partner, mondine. I'm certain that mondine will be an excellent administrator.

Trivia:
- It has been about 9 months since the last time a new admin joined us.
- mondine joined 15 Sep 2005, about a month after that.
- mondine has 3338 posts; the #2 top poster at GC.
- That's 4.04% of total and 13.85 posts per day.
- mondine is from Vancouver, BC.

Also, a note: I will be out of town from May 14 to 20, with no internet access. I trust that you guys can keep things under control at least until I return

I suppose I should reconsider the "hidden" thing, now that I'm somewhat more 'official'.
The main reason that I usually do this is that often my 'presence' is just having an open tab in the browser.
I could actually be elsewhere for hours at a time, in the yard, or my basement workshop. Or down the street having a beer, for that matter.
I wouldn't want people to think I'm ignoring them, if I didn't respond to messages right away.
Particularly those that I'm actually trying to ignore, like people with smartass questions.

Besides. Skulking can be fun and effective. I like to sneak up on spammers.

I'm not actually replacing anyone.
Darren's still an admin- I'm just taking up some of the slack so he can get some other things done.
Hopefully, he could be back one of these days.

It's a bit more work, but I do enjoy being able to blow spammers out of the water
without looking at it until someone else shows up.
Very satisfying (and good for the blood pressure).
